AI and APIs
The data in Placepoint Fusion can be used outside the map. Three entry points cover different needs: Placepoint AI when you work in Claude, the Agent when you work in Placepoint Fusion, and Placepoint API when data needs to go into your own systems.

Placepoint AI
Placepoint AI is the set of MCP servers that give Claude access to the same registers that Placepoint Fusion is built on. You use it in Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cowork, and you ask in the language you use yourself. Claude retrieves data from the matrikkel, Grunnboken, company registers, zoning plans and around 2,300 map layers (all the categories are set out on Map layers), and delivers answers, tables, maps, dashboards and reports of the same type as the reports in Placepoint Fusion. A whole street or district can be analysed in one request. Each dataset and who supplies it is set out on Data and sources, and the scope in numbers on Placepoint in numbers.
Ready-made reports and short example prompts are set out on Examples.
Placepoint Agent
The Agent is Placepoint AI built into Placepoint Fusion, as a pilot. Same questions and same data sources, without any setup: you write in a panel in the platform, and the Agent answers, controls the map, the map layers and the property panel, and searches this documentation when you wonder how something is done. Through connections, the Agent uses Placepoint AI together with other systems your organisation has.
Placepoint API
Placepoint API is for developers who need to pull Placepoint data into their own systems: property and company data, tenants, address search and embedding of maps. Placepoint API brings the APIs from Placepoint, PropCloud and Placepoint Maps together in one platform. The reference documentation is in English in the developer portal, and the Tenant API can be tried with a free trial key.
